Stupid question

I'm converting my K2 back to a 4-2 setup. Never tinkered with this bikes pipes but I sourced a second hand collector box. Does it just connect to the downpipes or is it somehow anchored to the underside?

That bracket on the link pipe is where it's bolted underneath.  I don't know for sure, but I've never heard of issues with that bracket being in the wrong place for a 4:1 or a 4:2, so I'd say use the mounting hardware on yours now into that bracket & she's a good 'un.

That's what confuses me a bit, my current 4-2-1 is not anchored to the bike (afaikt).

I found the exhaust assembly diagram in section 11 (supplement)  This shows that round mounting bracket & associated bits.
