Hi guys, I'm having an issue with my 1400 in that she's very ON/OFF with the throttle, I thought that the timing advancer I fitted last week might have took some of that away but sadly not. So my question is this, should I balance the throttle bodies or could it be something else?. The plugs have been cleaned a few weeks ago so I know it's not that and I've done a full tank and a half with fuel cleaner in so not going to be that. ANY IDEA'S ?

have you checked the TPS and the STPS ?

Usual checks Mate. As above both sensors, balance TB.Throttle cables adjusted.Make sure clutch switch working.Just because youve used fuel cleaner doesnt mean high pressure filter not clogged up, just a thought. 👍

It is also useful to check all conntectors in headlight, battery connections, earth cable, vacuum lines

Balance the throttles before you set the throttle sensors, it's needs to be done that way around.
