Handiest Everyday Tool

Just wondering, what is everyones go to tool, one you wouldnt not have, something that helps you a lot, one choice only.I know we have lots but just one.Mine is my old reversible Toyota screw driver, phillips one end, flat the other. In the pocket, amazing how many times used, mainly at home. Obv used on screws but also levers, Marks timber cuts, knocks down wasp nests, removes window screens, opens bottles, gets pavers out. Much more. Interesting thread, i hope so.

I'm a bit of a tool hoarder / collector, but I have a "daily" toolbox I keep at hand. I bought a set of 4 different Vessel JIS screwdrivers. Probably what I reach for the most.

Handiest tool would have to be my Gerber MP600 Pro multitool. Can do most things with it. Sadly no longer a UK legal carry as the blade locks in the open position. Can thank UK law for that one

Second which gets worn most days is a Leatherman Tread multitool. I've actually dissassembled and reassembled an Ikea wardrobe using it.

I know Ryobi aren't a premium brand but I have an 18v leaf blower. I use it to blow the Ute tray out when I've moved logs or gravel, use it to blow the sheds out, take it to the dump and clean the Ute out after emptying it, clean off the back and front house's outdoor areas and drive way. Started using it to unblock the Fergie's radiator when I'm slashing long grass and to clean my slasher and ride on mower. It looks rough as it's been thrown around for years but works as good as new and gets used a lot.

I bought this a while ago but only recently used it (several times).
Its a Spark Plug socket with a swivel base..
Combined with a short 2" extension it makes plug removal so VERY easy..
Its magnetic inside and so keeps hold of the plug..
Highly recommended.

Tony you need to add fire starter to the list of uses for your Ryobi leaf blower. Fire starter block and the blower gets it roaring in no time. More environmentally friendly than a tyre and diesel....so I'm told

I do a fair bit of DIY on 4WD vehicles, I reckon my go to tool there is my 3.0t wll low profile trolley jack. Fast and slow pump circuits, ultra low profile and 550mm of lift.  Works for me. Use it on my kids cars and my bikes too.  Here it's holding the engine during a clutch replacement.
