Had a ride on my mates new bike today, sweet looking thing, braked and handled pretty well until pushed, front end felt pretty good but the rear end could definitely do with some better shocks, std ones are non adjustable except for preload, reminded me of my old 70's kawasakis the way they used to wobble around, supposed to be near 50 hp but felt more like 30 in reality, nothing like the grunt of my 50 ish hp ducati 750 gt

Starting to see a few Enfields here now we have a dealer in town.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Had a ride on one, quite liked its concept. After market cans, sounded good but just no grunt. Not sure i understand their thinking, 40 bhp, a bloody V Strom 650 makes 70, very liveable. For around $4G can get 60, better to just buy a Bonnie.

Not sure if it's restricted due to being LAMS approved , but yea pretty gutless

HP itself is not teh whoel story though:
Moto Guzzi V7 65 hp
Triumph Bonneville 79HP

The Guzzi is still very fun, despite the HP disadvantage.

The Enfield is underpowered though I'll grant you that.
Still, for the budget conscious who insist on a new bike it's good value.

I've seen quite a few of them now I know what to look for. One of my friends sons rides one, he's spent money on go faster gear. Upgraded the suspension etc. probably spent a few grand. He loves the nostalgia look and he's a bit of a hipster even at 28 yo  :rofl2: :happy1:

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Hooli

Forty odd brake in modern measuring probably is about the same as the claimed forty nine for my Bonnie, it's enough to have fun with.

Mate did a 4 th k return trip to Melbourne and back, 500 single Enfield. I reckon putting your big toe in a vice would be less torture. Having said that, i did same around 1975, TX650 Yamaha, on my own, totally enjoyed. Blown high beam only problem. I thought then that it had heaps of power.Probably same as your Trump Hooli.
