Not sure if I'm posting in correct thread .. but

I attempted again to go into dealer mode by bridging the white & black and Red & White wires on the grey plug near LHS TPS .. with ignition on all I see is F1 on the screen ... scrolling between the odometer then F1 etc etc .

Sounds like you're bridging the wrong connector. The dealer mode one is near the battery & as I recall has a rubber cover over it.

Correct, its a white 2 wire plug with a black rubber dust cover, near the lhs of the battery. No need to disconnect any other plugs.

Remember that once the ignition is switched off, the code will dissapear. The ecu doesn't store codes like most modern ones.

When I was getting codes, id leave the bike running or ignition on, use the spare jey to remove the seat and then access the battery just to reach the plug. Bridging this then gives you whichever C code is causing the FI light.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Perfect Eric👍Also easiest way to check tps is correct.Little line near odometer.

Interesting read from another forum, especially about setting up not quite as per the manual:

https://www.gixxer.com/threads/ahhh-the-good-old-herky-jerky-is-gone-with-repeatable-resulsts.185499/

Come the spring I will check mine and see if this setting works any better than standard

T250, interesting experiment for those having problems. Mine runs lovely so not messing with it.My old motto, if its not broken dont fix it.
