First little bimble out.

Hi Guys, just had the first couple of miles spin out on the Gsx, the good, the torque, immense, don't really need owt more than 6k, but i wound it on a bit and fook me, reminds me of a pillion ride on our kids Gsx1100efe back in the day! Comfort is superb, i'm 6ft 3 and find it great. Now the bad, probably just my bike but there is an annoying buzz from the clocks area around 2-2500rpm, does my heed in around slow traffic. All in all though, what a bike. Think i'm in love! Andy.

Clocks are held on under the yoke with two allen bolts, check they are tight. There's also some rubbery pads under the flat section below the clocks where they sit over the top yoke, could be worth checking they are there. Finally if you take the back off the clocks there's a couple of rubber mounts & two nuts holding the clocks to the bracket.

Jolly, just check its not a mirror vibrating. That drove me mad and took some finding.

Agree Chris, always wear. That bloody mirror vibration noise even got thru them. Glass vibrating in metal holder, mustve took 6 months to locate.

Thanks Gents, found the rattle, it's the bloody throttle cable just catching the clock case, sorted. Andy.

There should be a clip holding the two cables together near the clocks that helps stop that. I say should as mine fell off the other week. Plus a clip that guides them under the front of the tank. Finally you can slacken the Allen bolts holding the throttle grip and rotate the whole assembly to change the curve in the cables.

Rattles are annoying aren't they?
