Dot4 fluid

Just an attention-getter, not all dot4 fluids are equal. Did the clutch seal a few weeks ago and voila, fluid leak ! Stripped everything apart, checked the slave cylinder seal, refitted, leak again. Nearly didn´t have clutch one of the days coming from work. Everything seemed ok...something couldn´t be. Changed the brake fluid and all is ok. Being that that ATE SL.6 (first I used that was in my garage) has half the viscosity of the "normal" ATE SL. So, check the viscosity of the brake/ clutch fluids before you buy.
