First little trip with my brand new used GSX1400 just bought used and with 63500km.
All went ok and bike runs smooth and (really) fast.
Once parked, left it run idle and accelerated to check for noises or rattle
Some white smoke comes from engine side or bottom.
Leaking oil?
Someone can help determining the issue?
Engine looks clean without oil
Thank you

sounds like a leak in the exhaust somewhere, probably around the collector.  occasionally some owners get a bit of oil in the pairs , which could give a bit of a puff of smoke.

Could try giving the bike a rev with some cardboard close to the exhaust outlet, any oil getting in there should show up as wee oily spots on the cardboard.

New white cotton sheets also work well for this diagnosis,  :whistling: :happy1:   if you're single,  (or want to be . . .)    :happy1:
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Thank you. Will check and revert.
Great suggestion
But why the smell seems oil?
Exhaust has not that smell.
Hope it is not a gasket leaking

Issue solved.
Guy having the bike before me changed oil and filter before selling it to me.
A small tear of oil was left on engine and once hot it was vaporised.

No more smoke after 200 km and engine perfecty clean

Thank you very much
