There is a guy in Newhaven England trying to sell a set of yoshi st1 cam shafts on
UK eBay
but all he has is a box and a pair of standard cams .
Please be warned and do not buy these .

Had a look at the cam shaft just out of interest. Looks like they have Yoshi markings on and the seller is stating they are legit, acknowledges there have been many claims they are fake but says if you have any concerns come and inspect. All seems very odd to me, is this a vendetta against the seller or is he really a scammer🤔 Not a clue myself just wondering what's going on.

If it walks like a duck, Quacks like a duck, maybe it really is ST1.

I've never met the seller
But the whole listing was iffy from start to finish .
@Big Phil Have you seen the cam shafts in the flesh or only online as he kept adding pictures the ones with the yoshi markings were at the very end and I don't think they are the same ones.
I asked privately for a video with close ups he just said they are what they are.
Yoshi do not regrind standard cam shafts (how do you get more lift from smaller originals) Kent cams do regrind standard cams and need very thick shims to get everything correct .
If he is genuine he would be ok proving what he has .
I've been here and on previous versions of this org and I'm well know by many of the members .
I've nothing to gain(or lose) but hate seeing people getting ripped off.

Take your point Seth and I shouldn't of really commented on this. I know nothing at all about them whatsoever from a technical point of view and not a clue who the seller is. Was just sat around with a bit of time on my hands so had a look at the advert, nothing more than that.

seth

He's now also got them back on eBay for £250
If they are yoshi ones he should be showing them properly
As I've said I have nothing to gain whatsoever
But as an engineer to trade I'd live to show me how to get more lift by grinding down cams and using standard size shims.

I'd hate for someone to go to the expense of fitting everything for no gains

I think they weld the lobes adding metal to regrind giving it a higher lift , but I could be wrong, I could be right

seth

I've seen it done that way @Bob
But it's a bit low tech and hit&miss for a company yoshimura.
They advertise saying they make everything in house .

I wouldn't expect yoshimura to do that but pretty sure Kent cams do
