Any videos letting us know how the Suzuki GT sounds Alan?
Sorry Dave - I'm not clever enough to do sound or even movies!  However, I'm sure my sons know how to video, so when things sort themselves out - I'll try and get them to help.

However, if you imagine someone tearing rocks apart, that's somewhere close!  Its a real crackle!  If I come across horse riders, I always switch off and let them pass before I ride on.  Actually had a few pleasant conversations with the riders, who were very appreciative.  I'm also conscious of the noise when I ride through villages, as it does make people look up!

When it first went on the road, she didn't run too well, so I took it to BDK engineering near Norwich (who had rebored the barrels and built the crank ) who  put it on their dyno.  I couldn't stand the noise and smoke as they ragged my brand new engine!  It was making 40 BHP which isn't bad as Suzuki claimed 37 as standard.  And it wasn't running properly on all 3 cylinders at the time!  I had a bad batch of NGK (rip off) sparkplugs which once replaced sorted the problem.  She runs good now!

Thanks for your interest.

Chip  :)
I have a 2003 GSX1400 owned since new (Blue and White of course).  I have a 1977 Suzuki GT380 cafĂ© racer and A Japanese import Yamaha XG250 Tricker.  I'm interested in anything mechanical.  Was an aircraft technician / inspector, but I took early retirement - because I could!
