Tonight was perfect Winters night, 15c, 19 k ride home but made it 30 odd. New hat, new jacket, one running amazing 14. Guess im getting towards the end of my working days, sadly. Riding days hope will go forever. Tonight was a great reminder of all my perfect riding times. Touched 160 coming home, that was blood pressure btw. So bloody enjoyable. 14 just looked at me when home, lets go again. Amazing machines.

KiwiCol

Yeah, it's amazing how the wee squirt of high blood pressure gets the senses wired & the happy centre pumping again.   The doc with the flashy lights really  buggers it though.

That top gear roll on is just great, hitting 130 - 140 (BP) in seconds, or chop down & hit it even quicker.   Just bloody great machine.
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

No way @grog since I retired, I've ridden a heck of a lot more, after all, you can pick your days and times to ride, roads your own. Toured more places too. I've enjoyed bikes more since I've retired then ever before. Look on it as an opportunity buddy.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Retirement is wasted on the old!

Always enjoy throwing a leg over the bike. Does improve ones own perception of our age.
Track days make one feel even younger.... time l did another  :onya:

Yeah, id retire if i could even though i like my job. I keep working to keep my wife in her happy retired mode. She enjoys it, i guess mainly because im not here to annoy her. 😎

I'm missing my 1400 now with all the hot summer and blue skies. The Bandit is still in the Man Cave so not all is lost.
I pop on here every day still to keep up with what's occuring in the happy world of GSX1400's and their owners. You won't get rid of me that easily :rofl2:
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

Mick_J

Retirement ain't cheap, I spend more money on petrol and tyres now than I did when I worked, it's hell.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

I spend more on coffee than beer since being retired !!  :bugga:
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Basil Brush

Our biggest expenditure now both of us are retired - I left nearly four years ago is food and drink. We are forever stopping off at biker cafes or anywhere else for that matter.  :whistling:
