Cant open your link but in the past i used this: The Stator pages on the GS resources :

https://www.thegsresources.com/statorpapers1.php

It has helped me in the past, might be useful to you / the 14?

So many different opinions on this one. Don't really wanna have to mess around taking cover off to check stator visually and then at least having to buy gasket if I happen to damage current one which is likely to happen knowing my luck lol. Especially when it might not be the stator. I've read from a few sites that if I'm getting AC voltage but it's still shorting to earth then it could be reg/rec and given it's only done 53k miles I'd hope it's not the stator just yet. My CBF 125 had loads of problems with the reg/rec due to the bad placement inside the rear cowl. The placement on the GSX seems nearly as bad with getting little airflow. While it's still a pain to get to with having to take the rear end apart or at least move it back a bit it beats having to fight against the magnetic force getting the stator off then replacing engine gasket and knowing my luck will end up with a oil leak when it might not even be the stator. It seems to be giving correct voltage output so can't see how the stator is knackered even if it is shorting to earth but then I'm not great at electronics so have no clue about it but shall test the reg/rec and see if that is damaged and go from there. If that appears to be fine then shall visually inspect the stator to confirm it being knackered.
