These are some pictures of what I did today. I enlarged holes in frame and put rivnuts. Bracket is made of 5x25mm steel flatbar. Steering damper stroke is 65mm but it could be a little more, so I will have to modify steering stops to avoid damging damper. I tried it and it works great and IMO it looks great!

Thanks for the remind.  Now I recall you fitting those & the extensions you made too.

Were you having an issue ? Or is it purely cosmetic ?  :whatever:

I want one for mine.
I love the steering, handling, feel of a raised rear, but top end stability has been effected.
Adding a damper is no different to the one on my GSXR, Hayabusa, B-King etc IMO.
Just lets you have the best of both worlds.

1 cm shorter front forks, 2.5 cm risers on rear and 17 teeth front sprocket make front end nervous in +160 km/h curves and +200kmh speed. Not something that is really necessary but feels safer. Oh, and cosmetics too!

Was there a lot of rejigging ? Resizing bearings in steering head etc. ?  :confused1:

Only had to modify gsx spindle to fit TL's lower clamp, bearings are same.
