Pity about the museum not going ahead but what an awesome collection, luck to have an uncle willing to give him storage too, that's the problem in uk not many have space to keep many bikes, 3 max at my house (but I have a plan to get one in my kitchen   :imrgreen: )

Tony, turns out my collector mates in Sth Tassie are friends with Toad. They also have amazing collection, 3 sheds full plus lounge room has 3 bikes. All in perfect condition, not like Toads. I could be here all night describing there bikes. Star in lounge is MV Agusta, has not even done 100ks. 1962 Honda 250 6, last one left. Has a 750 Ducati with Vincent motor who Phil Irving helped install. Other 2 in lounge are super rare Moto Guzzi, one from 30s.

If you get the chance to go to Tassie it worth a look.

GSXKING

I spent a whole day here once and only scratched the surface. Well worth the visit.  :clapping: :clapping: :clapping:

Not really into the older Brit bikes.
They have their place but I've seen enough and I don't feel any connection to them like I do the older Jap bikes. Visited a few bike museums that were OK but didn't excite me.

There used to be a good one near Brisbane that closed down.
That had lots of olderJap bikes like the 4 turbo bikes, Z900's, Kats, 70's two strokes, a Rickman Zed turbo, GSXRR, H1/H2, 350LC, CBX, Z13, CB750, Z1R etc etc.

Wasn't I lucky out riding with those bikes frequently.

My kind of bikes.

I've had a Z9 style early Z1000 and the best of the big Kats the 1100SD.

I can look at those all day but not old Brit stuff.
