I have always wanted a decent (capable) remote control model Land Rover Defender though.

Only time I ever tried rc models came to a messy end very quickly... flew my helicopter into my sister in laws favourite houseplant that she had nurtured for years.... guess I don't need to describe the outcome of that little entanglement   
Needles to say my pilots license was revoked ...

Those Landies are lovely, here's a vid of one of mine, the quality isn't that great as it was made over 15 years ago, the camcorders weren't that good then, OK, so its not a  car, but it IS RC!!

Used to fly RC Gliders years ago, but not the time now (or any decent hills in Essex to launch from LOL)

Bungee & thermal soaring.

I always planned to get into gliders after flying glow engined stuff years ago, never have though. Still got an Aerosport 40 in my parent's loft with a seized OS40FP on the front.

Got one of those as my first R/C car when I was a kid.

I started club racing locally with a Tamiya buggy (can't remember the name, just a basic on with a single horizontally mounted shock) which was great fun, in a local school sports hall which was a bugger of a surface - hard and slippery. I had a Kyosho models for a while (can't remember the name), but then ended up with a Schumacher Procat which I seem to remember was one of the most common ones to have in our club. It all ended when I went to University though and haven't even driven one since then.

It is yes its a proper vintage but still gets used, I don't do any racing I just like fiddling.

I remember one of my best mates got a Grasshopper the same Christmas I got the Midnight Pumpkin, although the weights were significantly different, the grasshopper had the smaller motor size (380 instead of 540 I think), so head to head races were pretty even.......Until I went off line and just drove over the top of his :D

Now that's reminded me, the Mud Blaster shared it's chassis with the Brat but the Mud Blaster had a 540 & a diff, the Brat was a 380 with no diff. A Palmer cyclone 2 stock motor in the Brat made it fly & very sideways

Actually that might still be in my parent's loft somewhere too...
