Wiring KOSO DB-03R to a K3 Help needed

So to all the guys that have put aftermarket clocks on their bikes.
basically I thought i would make life a little easier buy chopping the standard clocks connector blocks off and connecting the correct cables where needed. The KOSO clocks have more than I need but it does say incorrect connections could make it blow up 

It has an engine management light. When I go through the wiring diagram there are x2 cables that go back to the ECM. BR/B I am happy with as TACHO is self explanatory. B/G goes to TECH, is this the connector i am after that would normally make the FI light up? I am hoping this is the cable I connect to the EOBD(-) on the new clocks.

has anyone is there anywhere i can take the oil temperature from?

I like to have things simple in my head before i start connecting wires.
