Yeah, probably is, but, it (the country) wouldn't of been called Australia then, was more likely called something completely different & unpronounceable (by us lot) by the said 'locals'.

Well, appears I was wrong (no surprises there if you ask the Mrs) about the 'locals' having their own unpronounceable name for Aussie.
