It's in the eyes of the beholder. I like the engine concept. I don't like the labeling. Sticking their name on more and more parts is like shitting on yourself to set your mark.

A mate of mine had the first delivered one in Australia. Was an amazing bike. I put nearly 6000kms on it before he "caught" a cab with it.
3rd gear power wheelies with the traction control going nuts.

Eric, spaceship a great idea. r1200r, rode one couple of yrs ago, was glad to get back on mine. dealer offer was 4g for my bike plus another 21g.

Saw a couple of the new Z900's yesterday. Smart lookin bike but looked to me like a pretty small bike. Did'nt seem like much room for a pillion.

The original Z900 looked big to me when seeing her as a lad. The other day I watched Stone (1974 Australia) and they looked smallish.

Nowadays I am used to bigger. To me even the 14 doesn't look as big as in 2002. Perception changes, seeing myself in the mirror I look smaller now despite having added a good deal of mass.

Col, they do look good. all new bikes seem small, ridden a few, gsx1000 suzuki, mt 07&09. brutale. they go on about how much toque z900r has, amazing they say.z900=53ft/lb @6500rpm. bandit 1250=79@3700, 1400 93@5000, rocket 3=150@2500. sort of makes it light on in my books. rocket really has grunt, spent 3 weeks on one. 14 is 70kg lighter, better gear change, sort of works out even in my eyes. just my opinion, no expert.
