I picked up an old GSX750 to go with the 1400, it's all there but pretty tired.
The wife can't see the hidden beauty in the old girl.

im guessing but tail light maskes it look around a 1982 model. could be way wrong. my 1100 was 82, i flogged the hell out of it. never a problem. im not sure, long while ago, seemed to be as quick as 14. it waas bloody fast for then. i had gs1000 at same time, 1100 was much quicker.

It's an 82, I had an 81 GSX1100 a long time ago, I remember it going as well as the 14, I'd love to ride one again.

So is this to be a hack bike, or a project

It will be a project Barmy, blast and paint the frame, get the tank and panels resprayed, I'm not sure about the pitted chromework, rechroming might stretch the rebuild budget.

Will have to choose the chrome thing to doRick. Bloody expensive these days. Maybe powdercoating, lots of colour choices. Maybe red biker way, lots of black. Not sure what id do. Nice to have it back to original.

Powdercoating is also available in chrome look. Just don't get a transparent coating over it or you loose the shine somewhat.
