Throttle tube rattle

I've just changed to Renthal bars, and now find the throttle tube has a bit more side to side play, which is a bit annoying as it tends to rattle when going over certain road surfaces.
Can anyone suggest a fix, or is it just wear in the throttle?

hopefully just wear but if your changing it
a yamaha R1 fits and some(not sure which model/years) make it a quick action throttle on a gsx1400.
only a slightly modified gsx1400
oh and a standard one too

Had another look and think about this, as the throttle tube didn't rattle side to side on the original bars. I think the bar ends that come with the original bars are a larger diameter than the cheapo ones I have with the Renthals, so restrict the amount of end float.
I'm thinking maybe R&G bar ends look to be a large enough diameter to work similarly to OEM.

There's a thought, I'll have a rummage in the garage - something like a penny washer might do the trick.

I fitted a set of Oberon stainless to mine same shape as OEM stopped all the end float.
The other option I've seen is to fit the OEM ones to them. The chap who did this bought some appropriate rawl plugs from B&Q (the ones you use in concrete that expand by the bolt pulling a metal wedge up as you do it up) used a longer screw and fitted them that way
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Not sure of exact years but it's been done a few times on B-Kings too.
R1 is a bit shorter action, R6 even more so.

Well I rummaged, and found the perfect washer for my £6 bar ends, but as I tighten the bar end bolt the expanding rubber that holds it in place sort of squidges out the end of the bar, allowing the throttle tube too much end float.
So I ended up with some R&G end plugs that are spot on, no more rattly throttle tube, and less zizzzz through the bars - 4x the price but work 100x better!
