Yes very very sad.

He and Chris were apparently very close friends. Chester sand "Hallelujah" at Chris' funeral.

Apparently suicide can be 'contagious' given the right circumstances and it seems this was one of those "perfect storm" situations.

He'd made plans for the next day so pretty clearly not a premeditated thing, but probably something that he had been (involuntarily) thinking about for a while.

Suicide is a tragic thing on every level.

That's a real shame, wasn't much of a Linkin Park fan but they were one of the influences for the bands I was in at the time and the guy could rock.
