Hi all I got a wheel back from the sprayers today. Asked for a nice shade of gold. WTF
WOW that looks like repsol orange
All that I can say is it looks like it's not staying "gold" lol. Getting it resprayed white I can only guess what colour that will turn out to be. :stir:
Interesting take on gold for sure!!!!
Be specific Yoda.......theres a million shades of white.
Get a colour code if you can.
Wow, that hurt my eyes
Now I understand when an Essex person (PC bit) says they have a golden tan :rofl2:
Its a bit, shall we say 'saturated', my 'gold' looks more like brass.

I never had a go at your Triumph, I have two myself :salute:
There are several "golds" available as I found out when I had my original set done, but thanks to Skybet I opted for a set of gold Galespeeds :wheelie:
It has to be said when asking for any colour you have to be very very specific, I'll swear there must be thousands of shades of every colour out there!
sell your wheels to del
they'll match that bandit on his thread :stir:
hat/coat/door
It's orange NOT gold...It nearly matches mine Yoda :cheesy:
Yes it's nearer to orange than gold. Had a nice chat with the sprayer he admits something went wrong. Like I said going for the safer white option
I was thinking of that kinda paint scheme on mine, KTM orange frame and matt black/satin/gloss for the rest of it.
The colour they painted your wheels Yoda is very similar if not the same as an automotive paint tinter called Bright Gold. The guy who was told to paint them gold probably thought.......Bright Gold, perfect !!
Have a look around some car yards, find a white car you like the look of then ask the salesman what the colour code is. Then tell the painter. All the colour codes will be on a computer that is linked to a tinting system.
As i said before there are thousands of different whites. :onya:
Thanks kiwi I had pointed out that I wanted ohlins gold but the painter decided that it looked too brown???? So changed it without telling me. I have chosen the white colour I want from shade cards so hopefully no surprises this time. Picking them up over the next couple of days.
Well finally got the white colour I like its more a gold white but I like it
Yoda...theres even more shades of white than I thought. You chose a nice one :clapping:
