GSX1400 Owners .org

Well, I had a bag that fit nicely in my top box, for my commute to work. It was never the best quality but did the job. It's now worn out though - material thinned, lining stuffed, zips buggered... subject to imminent collapse !

I have been looking around but they seem to make bags to the maximum "cabin baggage" size these days, and not smaller (unless they are "manbags" eww, no thanks)

Given that it has to fit in a topbox that holds a single helmet (40litre box) there seemed precious few options by which I mean none.  Givi do sell some bags but as far as I can tell they are only for the larger topboxes (the 2 helmet jobbies) and in any event they are bloody expensive ! 

So I was in a pickle, until I came across a bloke on my hunting forum who makes all sorts of hunting packs and associated gear.  He agreed to do me a "one off" custom bag.
Of course, if anyone else wants one - he'll make one for them !

So he has 99% finished it, just waiting for some hardware for a removable shoulder strap. I supplied the badges.



So... What do ya reckon?

When it turns up I shall take some more pics, write a mini-review and post his details in case anyone else is interested.

I use one of the blue cooler bags they sell at Aldi.

Would be better if it had "Triumph" on the side  :happy1:
