Title: Anyone know what model these are.
Post by: Reece on Wednesday, 05 April 2017, 06:34 PM
Hi all I have just purchased these from a guy on gumtree which came off a 1400 but wasn't sure what they came off before that.
As I would like to get a seal kit and pads and do a rebuild before I fit them but not sure of what to get.

to get pads most none franchised dealers and some that are have spares books from brakepad manufacturer's wuth full size drawing that you could match the pads up against to get replacements
it might also help narrow down and identify what calipers they are to

I have been looking around and I found some on ebay the same from a 2007 model z1000.
I fitted one to see they where going to fit and seemed to be ok.
Has anyone heard of this model being fitted before.

I've not heard of that conversion before, but of course that doesn't mean it won't work.  There are many factors involved though around how much fluid is displaced for the braking effort - it's possible you may find lever has more (or less) travel than standard.

I was thinking get pads and seal kit doing rebuild and trying them out if not good I'll go back to stock.
