Had an old set of MK1 shocks kicking around, the original hydraulic adjusters were long thrown out, * I'd made alloy spacers for them, just to enable them to be used.
Seeing the 2 locating lugs on the main body reminded me of the old cam-ramp adjusters on many shocks, so I carved up a lump of alloy bar, & cobbled up some to suit, OK, so these are adjusted from the top of the unit whereas most are at the bottom!!
They have 4 separate positions that lock into place.
Still, they now work perfik, & have the same range as the 'proper' ones & are adjusted using a 'C' wrench.
So actually are 'retro' for a retro!!
Here's a brand-new pair for comparison.

I am with seth on that id have a pair done there great .and I like the look to .. great work how much to do a pair :onya:
Thanks for the comments, I'll look into the feasibility, & I can improve the design in several areas.
The one's I made were 'cobbled-up' & machined to fit as I went along, (a lot of hand-filing) I will have a 'proper' detailed measure up, do some accurate CAD drawings & see what develops.
superb job. id like some of them. back to basic stuff that works. seen before on old org. someone else did similar. keep us informed.
Very nice lawrie, as always.
Just done some measuring, then made a drawing, but not sure if it will upload in this format, if it dont, then maybe some kind soul can tell me how to!!
