Very nice Seth!  That would have been my ideal too (Wife having one too) but she's given up riding & won't get back on her bike. She's putting it up for sale, it's only her learner bike though, a GN250.

we all start somewhere it's a shame she didn't take to it. dors she go on the back with you as it's good to go on trips/runs together.

my wife had a 1200 bandit when we met but kept taking my old k2 gsx1400 out so when we got married we replaced the older bikes with a pair of k6 gsx1400's

the red and black gsx1400  replaced a very mistaken buy of a b king .

happy with whats in the garage now and don't see anything changing soon.

Yeah, sometimes she does. About an hour is all she can take on the back - reckons it's not comfortable enough - too hard on her backside, but there ya go.
I like doing longer runs & spending a few days away riding, so those are not to her liking.

Lucky lads... my missus hates the bike and no chance she would join me for a ride out :whatever:
Still... she would never deprive me of my passion/obsession as long as I 'check in' from time to time if I'm out and about on the bike.

we have 3
2 for me and 1 for emma
1 of mine is almost standard red/black touring mods
the blue /white is very modified and still more to go on that
pcv and auto tune next along with a bking front end and brakes this spring.
emma's is standard apart from paint work and touring extra's rack and screen ect.

im on my 5th 14 now made the big mistake if buying a bking 3 years ago but swopped it for cash and the red/black 14.

was not for me or what i do big trips touring.
to much of a sports bike riding position for a man who broke his neck long time ago.
tank range was no use either
nothing particularly wrong with it but a massive mistake for me .

Im one of the lucky ones. The Brides happy on the pillion seat. But does have a couple of rules.
We do have to stop for regular stretches and if I scare her she aint getting back on.
We did have a slow speed slide in the wet at the weekend....... she said "I felt that !"
1st class pillion.

Same here, but since she has become the perfect pillion , her first long distance was 1500 kms to MCR 7 which was also her first camping in a tent and first bike meet, she also did nine pints of bitter at the Old George bar!  in 2009 she stated doing her bike licence but didnt continue when I had an off (shame) Weve since done the Bol d'or and toured most of italy and spain so is now qualified as a keeper  :clapping:
