Title: STPS

Have never adjusted stps.Probably only part of bike I've never done. Manual has me confused.Need help with simple how to do, where to adjust.Thanks.

I've never found the STPS to need adjusting on mine, it's the same procedure as the TPS Grog, you can use either resistance or voltage, connect a meter on the STPS plug, black and yellow iirc, and under the throttle bodies same side as the STPS you can push the arm up to operate the butterflies, (the manual says to remove air filter and open via air box, but I've always just used the rod, saves taking air filter out) then check your reading and adjust if required, I think Eric mentioned he found a difference between 1&2 and 3&4 due to the linkage.

Yeah, not sure I want to touch it just tank off tomorrow, maybe measure it, just out of interest not for any performance issues.

As T250 says. I also checked the voltage (mV scale on the multimeter) from 1-2, thats how I found the difference, so then adjusting the screws that link 1-2 to 3-4 i got the same readings across both sets. Use the push from underneath its easier than going in via the air filter hole (need small hands)
