Post by: David Nolan on Monday, 27 March 2017, 04:07 AM
Have a 4-1 beouwolf  exhaust not surely it's just an end can or full system to be honest...

My question is I love the 4-2 set up, will it fit my 2006 bike if I buy one.of eBay do.i have to change rear foot rest or anything?

a 4-2 system will fit any year of 14
tho its best to only use the collector box and end cans for early models as later downpipes are larger internal diameter and fit the earlier collector.
you will also need the left pillion footrest hanger and the centre stand from a k4 or earlier model too .
they are the only differences .
the early left hand pillion footrest hangers are getting very rare these days tho do they do turn up from time to time

good luck

In which case, keep your headers, get a collector off an earlier machine (or from Black Widow) and a replacement LH rear hanger (you can make a bracket up to fit the existing hanger, but although it works its a bit mickey mouse looks wise.)

Hey guys. Am thinking of doing this 4-2 conversion on my k7.
Was wondering if this exhaust system would fit:

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/272274303291

With this footrest:

And the centerstand removed?

should fit and look great
the rear footrest is the correct  one and are getting very rare these days .
you'll also need a different centre stand or remove your as they are different too.
good luck

Legend!

Missus ended putting a stop to me doing a 4-2 conversion when i told her the price so i've just fitted a single 450m round delkevic which still looks awesome compared to the trumpet
