Title: Athena, the "Big Blue Suzuki"
Post by: imweirdimnotsocial21 on Tuesday, 09 June 2026, 06:32 AM
Hi everyone!

I realize I didn't have a good chance to introduce my bike, as I don't have TONS of good photos on it!

However, last weekend I was on the track, for the first time in my life mind-you, and here are some amazing pictures of the Goddess, the one and only, Athena!

Great photos mate 👍👍
You learn a lot about your bike and its potential on the track.
Also about your own personal commitment.

Was there any tuition involved ?

Practicing your skills in a controlled environment i.e. everyone travelling in the same direction, plenty of room to manoeuvre and no pesky cars pulling out of side roads etc. always helps your road riding confidence.

They can be quite addictive.

Hey GSXKing,

yes, there was some tuition involved, albeit in broken English and only AFTER the instructors finished explaining to the Polish folk.
Somewhat understandable.

I was 2nd to last in terms of lap times, but the most excited one. :)

More track day pics from Słomczyn in Poland, running the Battlax S22 tires!
So confidence inspiring!

Improved my PB from 59s last time (first time on the track ever), to 54s while doing only 4/6 sessions due to rain.

Thanks King!

I've been scrapping something on the left long sweeps, not sure of the central stand or kick stand, cause my feelers at the peg are untouched.

Great experience on the S22 tires!
