Old girl has been layed up for over 8 years while I was overseas.
Carbs and brakes rebuilt, front brakes to be bled and a new set of tyres.
Should be back on Historic plates in the next couple of weeks.
I've owned this for over 20 years and done plenty of k's on it with club events VJMC.
Bullet proof bike and nice to ride.

Been on a couple of FJ rally' on this bike Chris, the FJ guys where impressed they share the same brakes as the 1100, I know because I robbed bits of a 1100 or two I have stashed away.
The xj900's were my courier bikes back in the 90's, 2F's and a diversion. Brilliant bikes very dependable, easy to work on , very good fuel range. I keep an eye out on auto trader now and then the diversions are not much money for an awful lot of bike especially if they come with luggage as part of the sale.

I have an RC15 the baby version.
Major carb problems blocked jets, so ultrasonic clean, jets cleared and rebuilt, all good now idling sweet.

XJ back on the road on historic club plates. Running very well except for a few intermittent rough idle moments, was losing 1 cylinder.
I found the culprit resistor cap breaking down.
