After a struggle last week to load the Bandit, I knocked up a loading ramp for the trailer today. past away a couple of hours.
Looking good just remember to fit mudguards UK law requires them:(
work in progress mate, mudguards will be fitted before completion :onya:
Nice work.
Yep.... good stuff!
That should do the trick ☺
floor going to be chequerplate?
I find this much easier than a trailer. No rego needed or lifting.
Wow! Is that totally stable Snapey? I guess it must be otherwise you wouldn't be using it. I guess there is significant loading on those tie straps tho....
was that home made or brought it looks a great but if kit
ive seen something similar for moving trikes about but not 1 for bikes .
any info welcome on where to get 1
seth
Snapey you little ripper!! That's a fantastic idea. Looking at it it'd bet it's as stable as! What a great invention.
Those photo's were taken the day I fitted it 5 or 6 years ago. The tie downs were never used as I don't feel the hook type are secure enough unless you bottom out the suspension. I'll post a few photo's in the morning of how it looks now & how I secure the bike with decent tie downs.
Every time I pick up a bike I get questions about the rack so maybe it's time I got off my arse & looked at producing a few.
Nice idea snapey.
I like it Snapey, good work.
Not much good if you have a flat rear tyre though....
:onya: that really is very simple and very effective a great design well done ✅

There's not much weight on the back wheel so you won't do any damage by towing. How do I know? I towed Alan B's bike 60kms with a flat rear.
