Just saw advertised. Any Aussies looking for something to do. Id say needs a bit of tlc but the basis is there.

Still got a mudguard too, bonus. Only obviously missing bits in that pic are the bungee bolt things on the hand rail

Yeah, saw it, I was tempted for a moment.

Decided it was worse than the one I have, and the earlier model. Convinced myself it'd only end up gathering dust.

If it doesn't sell I may have a rethink about it.

Spotted that one yesterday. I initially thought "that's a cheap parts bike", then I looked at the photos and quietly walked away...

My other bikes would refuse to start in protest if I wheeled that thing into the shed.

Same deal Lurch, a few seconds of restoring, then the realities.

I'd happily buy it just to keep for spares or too break it up, I can find the space for it, I just don't see a $2k pile of parts or even close. Mine was complete and rideable for $2,500, cosmetic damage from an accident but all there and working except the clocks.

Fuel tank alone if the internal rust is not too bad would be worth 1500 on its own I reckon.  For a project bike and/or maybe some spares for my K3, its almost worthwhile...freight to WA would be almost the same cost
