Title: Multibike insurance uk
Post by: Phill P on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, 02:43 AM
Just a random question.

Which multibike insurance company's are people using.
Got a quote today from Hastings multibike who quoted £380 on the gsx with 3 years no claims and a 2019 Kawasaki z1000sx which is yet to be purchased.
Unsure on what comes with said insurance as the woman wasn't particularly helpful but the bike is/will be garaged with trackers, ground anchor and 16mm chain, disc locks etc.

Any thoughts on who is good for an almost 60 year old with a clean licence.

Cheers

Paul

Carole Nash are my normal go too, partly as their included breakdown is europe wide & unrestricted on bike age etc - which separate breakdown policies often aren't.

I'm with Dwain on this. Moved to Bikesure, after huge, increase from both, Carole Nash and Bennett's

But it's always, wisest to get quotes from as many, companies as possible.

They take advantage of loyal customers and give huge discounts, to new ones, so the only way to sure of getting best price, is to shop around.  :onya:

No use recommending mine as I'm in AU and insure different stuff. I have however after insuring a lot of bikes noticed that there's a lot more to insurance than price v price.

Ask about...
# Agreed written valuation.
# Cover for rider and pillions gear and value.
# Option to buy back any salvage.
# Option to do own repairs or nominate a repairer.
# Cover for any / all mods and accessories.
# Discounts or restrictions related to mileage.

It's not unusual to find differences in what insurers offer.

I've just done a comparison after my renenewals came through from NRMA for both my bikes.  5% multi policy discount, full comp cover, 5600aud agreed value for the 1402 and 17600 for the K1300GT, including 2000aud riding gear cover, the total for both premiums was Aud 464 (165 + 299).  The three other quotes I got, the lowest was 600aud for the 1402 only. You can guess that I continued my renewal with the incumbent insurer....

BeMoto is usually the best one for me, been with them for years but still trawl the net every year for better prices and they still come up trumps.

Cheers everyone, I shall give those a call. I tried online the go compare etc but they don't seem to account for multibike to add a second bike
