Your thoughts gentlemen. A plague around here. No regards for rules, no recognition as not registered. Cant hear them which makes them so dangerous, especially as they ride roads, footpaths wherever. Mostly no helmets. I cant see difference between me paying rego/ insurance, makes me accountable, and them free. Ive tried a couple, really fast and good.My golf cart is a 4 wheel stand up, i enjoy. Same as push bikes, they can do whatever as anonymous. Thats my irk, no accountability. Your thoughts.
Round here they mostly seem to be used by young oiks & ridden like they deserve to end up under cars. Lots used with illegal motors & such for fast food deliveries too. I think our limit is 250w motors & to do 30-40mph without pedaling like most do needs a 1000w or so.
Bloody annoying things, just like leccy scooters. I chuckle at both when they crash.
My golf scooter is 2000w, has limiter to 15mph, fast enough for golf course. Limiter can be disabled, not sure id like much faster. Sure can accelerate, even after riding 14 need to be aware. These stupid kids have no idea of their lethal toys.
It's another fad from the internet they mix in with general traffic in gangs and perform wheelies and stoppies.
No rego means no tracking them down, not enough police to catch them.
We have groups/gangs around MtCotton just teenagers. I pulled up next to them on GSX and told them to behave. One started mouthing off so I flicked down sidestand, he couldn't get away fast enough. I yelled "I know where you live" with some expletives they tend to avoid our street now.
We have adult crimes adult times now so I won't get in to trouble if they rock up at home. 😳🥊 is waiting for them 😈😈😈
Total pain in the arse. As has been said, mostly ridden by young t@%t's, out causing agro and nicking stuff and as pointed out, being ridden like they want to die. :jack: Cops simply, can't catch them, can't go where they can. No hope unless the Helicopters on scene. :deadhorse:
Yeah nah not a fan
Many ebikes ridden by delivery riders around worthing are definitely doing more than 15 mph, plenty of escooters which the police do nothing about and without doubt illegal, Saw a pair of school girls two up on an E scooter, on a pavement with front rider on her mobile :whatever:
That being said followed a Surron type bike, electric with no pedals, number plate and full lights with crash helmet riding properly in traffic. It can be done if the electric things are registered properly.
A bunch of kids riding them blocked the road and tried to stop me to nick my pushbike, I ploughed thru them.
They are mostly ridden by tossers selling drugs round here.
