Anyone got a decent front mudguard in blue (2007 FE) for sale please.
cheers guys
Bloody hell Chappers you might want to ask for some hens teeth as well
@Notty will be your best bet for either of those . . .
Is he still around ????
Chappers, new ones still available
Double post sorry. Chappers, Amazon have carbon fibre look, great price with free delivery.I carbon wrapped mine due to stone chips, has not deteriorated in many years. Looks good to me. Theres some choices Mate, wrap yours, Amazon or if you really want a new blue, over $500.
Thanks for the replys guys, i realise finding a good one is like rocking horse poo but thought I'd ask before going the new route. Mine although still fitted and solid is more or less in two pieces, split between the forks so think its past being wrapped or repaired. I see Just Bandits do a pattern one in black but not sure what the quality is like. If all else fails I'll buy a new one.
Guess who had his headlight out playing with the connections for the new clocks. Had the ignition on and off for a while. Must have had it on more than off by the time I finished.
There's a stupid old fool who learnt the hard way that a hot headlight sitting on a plastic front guard doesn't end well. Something else on my to-do list.
It happens Tony, bloody annoying crap. Many years ago worked at a Nissan dealer. Doing a pre delivery inspection on the top of the range, globe type inspection lights those days. The light melted part of seat cover. Think that car sat over a year waiting for new one. Mustve cost the boss a bit of profit.
I bought a new one from Webike last year. Worked out cheaper than having mine repaired/repainted.

Have you got a link please as I can't seem to find it.

Webike Japan. It's much easier to find the part number from a Suzuki parts fiche elsewhere and punch it into Webike.
This is more info than you asked for but it might help someone in future. There are 3 part numbers listed for 2007. The only difference is the colour, although I'm not 100% on exactly what the 3rd part number (ending with 13L) is. The parts fiche calls it out as a fender but there were some odd descriptions for it. Webike description says it's a white fender.

My guess would be the last one, (13L) is a plain unpainted fender. YBA is the colour code for the blue, YAY is the colour code for the "supreme almighty Black" so guess they gotta have a plain one for folk who want a different colour & will get it painted to their own requirements.

I think the last few 1400's that were sold were the special edition, that has a white front mudguard
It may not work out much cheaper buying from web bike on this item, the price is over the export tax limit & delivery is expensive, approx. £185 for the mudguard and delivery plus import duty, Robinsons Foundry have them listed at £226

Where are you seeing them at £226, I can only find them at £278 on Robinsons, think I'd rather pay a bit extra and get it from UK, I suspect the import duty will be 20% on the one from Japan and probably easier to sort any delivery issues from a UK seller.
Apologies Chappers, it is the earlier K2 & K3 Blue front Guards that are £226  Not sure how much the various Blue's differ or if it would be noticeable when on the bike, maybe more so when the two are side by side though
I thought they are all the same throughout all model years, just different colours. Haven't checked in detail though
Have you tried these guys, the item shown is for a K2 but perhaps worth a check to see if they have one for your bike?

We have / had a member Lawrie & he made a mould to make his own extended front fenders. He made lots of things Lawrie. Brilliant bloke.
I've spoken to Rich Pugh who sprays a lot of these, the K3 has a 2 stage paint and the K7 a 3 stage which is why there is a price differnce. I've ordered the K3 to be sent to him for the correct paint so should save me around £80.
Many thanks for all the help guys, much appreciared :hat:
