Righto I don't know if this has been discussed before, however I am not sure how to navigate a search for the topic.
My original chain guard broke off at the rear mounting point. I bought an aftermarket one highly polished tin one from E-Bay, it also broke off at the rear mount and started chewing in to the side of my tyre (not happy Jan). I zip tied it to the shock and removed it once home.
Does anyone know of an aftermarket option ? :whatever:
we have puig huggers with lazercut (gsx1400)chainguards on 2 if the 14's :boogie:
the spare 14 has a genuine suzuki hugger cost someone loads i got it for much cheapness from ebay.
I have one OEM for sell. It is little modded. Have black anodising on side to chain and on look side is 3D 3M carbon foil. I prepared it for my bike, but than I bought rear OEM fender that include chain guard.
Can post photo later.

Same thing happened to my OEM chain guard obviously a design weakness. I got another and had it powdercoated BUT I am unsure whether its a genuine or aftermarket item - I really cant recall where I got it. Anyway it'd be about 2 years old now with no evidence of it being damaged.
Here you can find it...
