Post by: grog on Tuesday, 26 August 2025, 05:24 PM
My chinese usb rechargeable tyre inflator. Has been amazing, set , connect and job done. Downside today, battery now doesnt last. 2 yrs of use for $30.Ill pull it apart, maybe new batteries. I just bought 90 degree chuck for my home compressor inflator.

I reckon you can replace the battery mate. We've got a few of those JBL portable speakers around the house, the original batteries last about  years, they swell and are basically rubbish. If you get the number off the battery, abd type that into ebay or Google, you are bound to find a suitable replacement.

Had a look today, 4 x 18650 batteries. Around $60 for quality ones. $25 for another compressor. Lasts another 2 yrs im happy. The 90 degree chuck for air line inflator will mean it gets a lot less work so should last longer. 👍

Funny Grog, I just brought a 90 degree inflator a couple of days ago too.  Got 3 inflators now but I want the metal 90 degree end, so brought one with that & will mix n match with my current digital one to get the tool I want.

One i got Col, sounds good. Just pushes on and grips. When done has button which releases it with bugger all pressure loss. Hopefully does all that.

I bought two rechargeable tyre inflators on Amazon. Originally i got one to keep under the seat of the 14, along with a puncture kit (this was just after a mate limped home with a puncture without these).

My car loses air from one tyre, due to a non-airtight rim, and i kept forgetting to switch the inflator between vehicles. So, i bought a second one, which appears to be faster and quicker to recharge.

I'm most impressed with both tbh.
