Hey all finally got around to giving the new ride a tub. Needs a polish now haha. Has a bit of fruit on it which is a great starting point I think.

Apologies to disappoint, but looking at the tank theme, what you own is actually a K7 and not a K8.
Regardless of the Year discrepancy it's a nice looking unit. Check the compliance plate for year of manufacture 👍
Where did you get so dirty ?
Has been sitting in a shed for about 3 years. The previous owner is no longer able to ride and finally decided to let her go
Checked the plate and it's a July 2008 model
This is the colour scheme of a K8, just sayin . . .

Wouldn't say year discrepancy - model discrepancy maybe, as as
@KiwiCol says the K8 was a different colour scheme,
@Wrighty 's machine is a K7 registered July 2008 that's all.
It was only the colour schemes that separated the K5 thru K8, mechanically there was absolutely no difference. The K designation also is year of manufacture not registration.
Ah there ya go. I'm still learning the finer details haha. The side panels match the k8 scheme though
Mate its a K7, much nicer with original side covers. Just IMO.
I like the blue over the black. Gonna give it all a really good polish soon
Won't take you long to get it bright and shiny :cheers:
