Title: Bomb Cyclone
Post by: KiwiCol on Tuesday, 01 July 2025, 04:37 AM
Just read on the news feeds that most of the East Coast of Australia is about to be hammered with high winds & torrential rain by a Bomb Cyclone!   Looks bad, hope you all come through unscathed.   Thinking of you guys, take care.  :onya:

Nothing dramatic here, but I'm a couple of hours West of the coast.
(Mrs is driving to the coast for work today though)

Had about 15mm of rain in just over a day, which is good, topped up the tanks, watered the garden and paddocks, no chance of bush fires for a while.

It's a bit windy and misty here today but not bad.

Looks like my place has come off OK. I'll know better in a few months when I get a close inspection.

Wasn't as bad as feared for sure.
