I'm currently working at the Port of Brisbane and see some large container vessels pulling in nearby, they look huge from a distance.
The news has been reporting about several mishaps of late.
See pics 😵💫
First one split in the middle 🙄
One on fire for a week
EVs can't be extinguished !!
The thread makes me think of this.

They were quite funny in their day.
Wow. I'm not really a fan of boats/water. The fact that things like this can happen to such massive ships and there's no real escape for those onboard is exactly why.
I love Sal Mercogliano's channel "What's going on with shipping?" https://www.youtube.com/@wgowshipping
I wonder if
@Globalrider watches it?
We had this one come in when I worked at the port...

We had several brand new high end Audi's flattened when the cyclone went through and dropped shipping containers on them.

I have spent 60 years in the Industry and try to stay away from the pundits claiming they know what they are talking about. More often that not, they don't know what they don't know! My career has taken me through just about every position from Cadet to Master and beyond as Surveyor/Inspector classifying ships and ship manager. Overwhelming the issue that arise are a consequence of bad management in all areas.
Pointed and proceeding - steady as she goes!
