Title: Rear axil spacer orientation
Post by: Noddy on Friday, 18 April 2025, 08:57 AM
Having just dropped the rear wheel out to fit a perishing valve the spacer on the RHS of the axil against the brake calliper dropped out.
Can anyone tell me which way round it should be as its not symmetrical. See attached image.
Thanks
Noddy

To think of it in terms of Star Wars, it's the opposite of what you have, the Dark Side if you will.  (Lord Hooli is really Darth Vader hiding out in this galaxy till the new death star is built)

Thanks to all of you who replied and I was convinced it would be dirty side out as its exposed to so much brake dust.
New pads, S/S Pro Bolts and tyre valve complete with a thorough lube up, clean and damaged knuckles its ready for bedding in.

Don't Brembo make a matching rear caliper @Notty ?

Untrue untrue!

I'm the resistance against the massive domination of the galaxy by those who prefer to polish bikes rather than riding them.
