Title: Torque Rod

Rear brake torque rod, anyone ever polished one? I know how to but what happens to the weld on end.Maybe re paint better option?

A Dremel kit comes with some great polishing wheels that should be able to clean that weld up very nicely.

Only so much polishing you can do with a weld I suppose. I had mine wet blasted and clear Cerakoted. The brushed aluminium lines will disappear in the process though

I coated mine in a mixture of dirt, filth & salt for the weathered look.

Mine's got 22 y of oxidation on the.

I'm sure the polished look will give you 10kph more top speed

Never had a problem with the weld, the torque arm all polished up ok when I had my 14 @grog - in fact it was one of easier items to get a mirror finish on
