Hello everyone
Francisco, 48 years old, from Portugal.
I just bought a 2002 GSX 1400.
I joined the forum because I'm looking for information and knowledge about this model.
I've had many motorcycles but despite liking this type of bike I've never bought one. Here in Portugal not many units have been sold nor is it very common to see them.I hope to find here the answers to the questions that will certainly arise.
:hat: Hello Nunes - Stan (Canada)
Gidday Nunes, welcome to the forum. Anything you could want to know about a GSX1400 would be available here in this forum, so you've come to the right place. :onya:
Welcome Nunes. It's a good place for information and not a bad bunch of blokes either. Enjoy your new ride
Welcome Nunes/Francisco. You have bought a great bike...my soul fills with joy every time I ride it.
Welcome :)
Welcome Mate
Welcome mate, some great roads around Portugal and Spain. I'm sure we have or had another member from Portugal a while back.
Great to have you along
Welcome to the forum Francisco. :onya: how about posting a picture, we like pictures.

G'day and welcome to the nuthouse 🙀

What colour 2002 ? If it's a Blue & White they're the fastest :stir: :stir: :stir:
I´m right here Eric, from Portugal. Hi Nunes, welcome!!
De que zona do país és ? Eu Lisboa. (From which part of the country are you from, me Lisboa) for those wo don´t wanna do a copy/paste into google translator. Nunes, if you wan´t send me a PM.
Haven´t been active on the forum for some weeks, and on the bike too. Cause it got hit and now I still waiting on some parts. I didn´t fall, just the right side footpeg broke and bent the bracket support, That little support that belongs to the frame. Still have to straighten it. It hit the exhaust and I´m also waiting for a new one. Damn astonished as Suzuki still sells new exhasuts, mine´s a K5. Not my fault so no savings.
By the way, any idea on how to straighten the support ? I spoke with the oficial dealer and their idea was same as mine. Maybe you guys will have a different one.
Welcome Nunes
Hi,
I've been to Portugal - great place.
I have vague memories of over-indulging in certain establishments along the Porto riverfront... :rofl3:

The foot peg bracket is quite solid and can be manipulated very slowly and carefully please.
I'm interested to know more about how you got hit. 🙄

On the various times I've bent those by throwing my 14 on the floor I found a big adjustable over it gives a nice lever to just pull it straight again.
Hello everybody
Thank you for the welcome
