Post by: steve0694 on Sunday, 02 March 2025, 07:47 PM
Hi took the the Bike out yesterday in the sunshine only had it a while 2002 K2 but noticed a wobble from the front end when i reach high speed, not sure if this is normal checked/cleaned discs and loop holes. All bearings seem ok nothing obvious, could it be tyres front seems a bit more worn than back maybe new set if so any recommendations?

Can of worms Stevo
How fast ?
What tyre pressure hot & cold ?
Suspension settings ?
Body weight ?
Riding style ?
I could go on. If you know a reputable tyre shop show and tell them your issue.

Check tyre pressures in first instance, if they are ok:
- check all suspension settings https://gsx1400owners.org/forum/index.php?topic=213.0
- check chain alignment - don't rely on the marks on the adjusters!
- check rear sprocket bearing for play
- check all wheel bearings for play
- check head stock bearings

Check the fork bushes too. Get the front end in the air & see if you can feel any movement between the stanchions & the legs.
