Unusual for them to keep one so long, done approx 44K miles according to the DVLA MOT checker, bet it has had a fair few quid spent maintaining it. Probably a rainy day bike now

Queensland Police Service (no longer a force) utilises several stealth motorcycle. BMW R1200RS, Suzuki Hayabusa and Yamaha MT 09GT currently 😳
Like their marked bikes they're not to Australian Standards to save money 💰

Chris i heard they even have a Ducati sports bike to mix with the crowd. On the coast here ive seen them on two trail bikes, totally unmarked. You really dont know who is next to you. The array of unmarked cars is long list, Hilux to Stingers.

Police used to use R1's in the past, don't know if they still use something similar.

Coppers on the R1's, easy to spot
1 wore all black.
2 police issue m/c boots.
3 rode professionally.

Civilian R1's
1 power ranger suits.
2 couldn't ride for toffee. :onya:
