Actually 49 years ago, loved my bikes then also. Honda 750 and TX650 Yamaha, had multiple options, forks, seats exhausts, bars, could cafe racer or chopper both in a couple of hours. Camshafts on both were other options. They were incredible times, still feel like yesterday.
Bloody hell - did we all have the same hair do's and beards back in the day? :rofl2:

Yup! :happy1: Looks out of place nowadays, but at the time everyone was the same.
Nice wet shave of my head yesterday. Smoothness rivals a baby's skin. Now the darn hair is growing back already. That shite should just stop growing and tell it's brethren who live in my face to take a hike.
1/2 Century Ago... I was 4 years old.
"Actually 49 years ago" I was 5 years old.
I was a few years off getting my first chopper (3 speed - T-bar)
Kinda like this...

HD have the wheels on their choppers the other way round, large at the front & smaller at the back. :happy1:
50 years ago I didn't have a beard. I was 14 and annoying the neighbourhood racing around the local bush in Mount Gravatt on my TS90 Suzuki trail bike.
My Dad was a genius at tuning two strokes, setting timing, gapping plugs and fuel/oil ratios for optimum performance.
He had BSA Bantams and the like as a Lad. His brother, my uncle Jed raced them at Isle of Man 🇮🇲
49 years ago I didn't exist ya bunch of auld farts.
50 years ago I joined the Royal Air Force, so no beard and short hair and I didn't have a bike.
50 years ago I had a raleigh bicycle and still went to primary school

50 years ago I was about to buy my first bike, a used Suzuki T250. I can recall the thrill and freedom to go places - places I'd never been or seen. Just loved it, and I still have that wandering lust to 'just go' today. :onya:

Start saving now because by the time you retire there wont be a state pension and if there is it will only just cover your taxes.

About the only reason I still attend a job in the NHS is the pension. There's nothing else good about it.
These two pics were 40 years apart...

Bike and rider look better 40 years later :onya:
Still a Motorhead fan too :onya:
Well six weeks and three lots of Hosp grade antibiotics and I'm walking around without crutches...(never really did use crutches at all from day one!)
My shitty skin halted my run as model patient. I can now do walking and start stretching the bits.
Driving was not prob as I left foot brake anyway (well I can I mean ! ).
Summer is coming so now have to get the 14 rego'd and warranted.
Probably about a month from riding again?
Glad I kept the rideon mower when we moved ,its be a lifesaver.
Glad to hear you're mending well Roo. :onya:
