Long time GSX1400 owner - among many 70's and 80's big Suzukis.
Riding since I could walk, ridden and led motorcycle tours pretty well much world wide. Lived in Vietnam as a tour guide (1974 Ural M74(?) sidecar) during 2014.
Just about to fire up my 2005 GSX1400 after a 5 year sleep and thought a bit of light reading to enthuse me would not go astray.
Still ride a BMW R75/5 sidecar and a Moto Guzzi 850T sidecar among others!
I'm enjoying what I've read so far before signing up.
So, hey from Australia :hat:
Cheers,SB

I have some very good Kiwi mates who have ridden some far flung places with me.
KiwiTK, who is currently dead, from Wanaka, once lent me his CBR1000F for a lap of the South Island. I miss him.
Cheers, Seb
An excellent introduction SB that's exactly as we like it and pictures keep the illiterate Luddites happy as well (I'm joking of course).
I did notice you got a slow one also 🤫🤫
No need to joke, the illiterate luddites won't know you're taking the mick anyway :stir:
Good pics though SB, I do like the one one that looks like you're riding on water.

Salar de Uyuni
From Wiki: Salar de Uyuni is the world's largest salt flat, or playa, at 10,582 square kilometres in area. It is in the Daniel Campos Province in Potosà in southwest Bolivia, near the crest of the Andes at an elevation of 3,656 m above sea level.
It rained overnight just before we crossed it. We camped overnight on a volcanic crater.
By Golly I was happy to be on a rented bike!! :whistling:

The Guzzi Ercole? That's a mate's contrivance in southern France.
How about this one then? The only new bike I ever bought - with my 13 year old son waiting for the off :clapping:

Yes great intro and photos.
I also like Guzzis and TL's (sadly own neither)
My wife is from South Australia so I've been there a few times now.
Welcome, from Brissie.
