Title: DriRider bag
Post by: GSXKING on Thursday, 21 March 2024, 02:43 PM
I'm pretty sure I've owned this DriRider gear bag longer than I've owned my GSX. There's no indication of model number or when/where it was made attached to the bag.
It's no longer waterproof and not as sturdy as it once was. A little faded from sun exposure.
It still suits my commute to and from work each day with zero complaints.
I've contacted DriRider but not holding out much hope for info from them, they seem very young lol.

When I first got my 14 last year, I dug out my old gear.
A Shoei jacket and my trusty old seat pack. The jacket is still usable, but the bag was toast, mouldy and rotted out :cry2:
Like you, I don't seem to be able to find a comparable replacement. I will just have to go all modern

D.D.

I've always had the Ventura rack fitted to the bike. I've looked at Ventura bags/system and considered them expensive. However if they last as long as this DriRider bag it's value for money 💰.
Yes Jeff a big man needs a big lunch box 🤣🤣🤣

The discount shoe store also sells a waterproofing spray which works well on the material. Can't help split seams though.
