Title: Great Work
Post by: grog on Monday, 04 March 2024, 06:20 PM
New workmate just back into bikes after 10 yr lay off. Bought Honda CB 650F, nice bike. Where i live are countless corners, hills etc. he spent 7 hours riding them Saturday, just to get back into it.400 ks on every corner he could find. I thought that was a great commitment and brilliant thing to do.  :hat:

Good on him, that's how to do it. As long as he remembers it's mentally tiring, especially when you're out of practice & allows for some breaks along the way.

7 hour ride first up?  Good on him!  been there & done that myself, & you're right Hooli, it does get mentally tiring, but being 'new' in the saddle you've got plenty of adrenalin flowing, just crack that throttle & it's on tap.

His old day bikes were bloody good, Busa, ZX10, others i cant remember. He told me Busa went to 290, sold it after that as could see trouble.I reckon ill talk him into a 14, likes mine.

Ahh thought you meant it was his first weekend out after years off a bike! ignore most of my comment then.
