Hi,
I have Campbell exhausts with the stock headers and collector and there was a map for the combo in the PCIII, all good.
Now I'm fitting the same Campbell slip-ons with Delkevic headers and collector.
The question is, should I change the fuel mapping and if so to what?
Thanks
Every change need own adjustment. If you dont have a wide band lambda in your bike ( and you can use the information of it), you should visit in dyno and get your bike remapped to get the best result of your changes ( and to avoid engie damage).
I agree with T 24 - with new (bigger) headers then you need to get your map adjusted. To be honest your current map is unlikely to be far out and just need tweaking - but to get the fuelling right then you need to get it checked as with bigger headers the engine will breathe easier thus the mixture could be slightly weak.
Sorry to skew this topic slightly, but out of interest, what sort of improvements does changing the collectors etc have to ones with a larger diameter?
standard down pipes are double skinned
k2-k4 (twin can models) are slightly narrower than k5-k7 (single can model )
after market downpipes are single skinned so flow more gas that why you need to remap if you are already have a power commander .

Rufus - Yes. :)
Thanks guys, I know someone who has a dyno so I'll take it for a spin there. Will be interesting to see if the new exhaust has freed any horsepowers.
